11:30 am: Return back to Sapa town for lunch and rest
13:30 pm. The driver and tour guide will pick you to Ta Van village – Experience Beeswax Painting
Beeswax painting technique is considered a treasure of the H’Mong people. According to artisans, this technique originated from the need to find ways to draw eye-catching patterns that require less time. Despite using many materials, it is with beeswax that people realize its flexibility, sharp lines, and color fastness. From there, the H’Mong people gradually popularized this painting technique.
You will prepare a square white piece of fabric, then you can draw any pattern or follow a template. Then, use beeswax to draw over the previous sketch lines. Finally, dye the beeswax fabric with indigo.
These fabric pieces can be used to make pillowcases, home decorations, and other products.
4:00 pm: Return to accommodation and end of the itinerary.
